Creating a user account:
As of 23 January 2007, the only way to create a user account is to have an existing Bored Aussie user invite you. Your user account is the same for both the gameserver and the forums. You can also post on the forum using the guest account to ask for an invite.

Setting up your PC to use Bored Aussie:

Automatic installation

To play on Bored Aussie: (after following the automated installation)
1. For Warcraft III, open w3l.exe in your Warcraft III directory. For Starcraft or Diablo II, open the game in the normal way.
2. Select "Bored Aussie" as your Battle.net gateway and log in.

To play on real Battle.net again:
1. Open Warcraft III in the normal way (not using w3l.exe)
2. Select one of the real Battle.net gateways and log in.
